British luxury fashion house Burberry is celebrating the timeless appeal of its Iconic Check Scarf with a new Portrait series.
Featuring friends of the house Olivia Colman, Amelia Gray, Liu Wen, Lucky Blue Smith, Mona Tougaard, and Tyson Beckford, the images lensed by Drew Vickers, showcase the warmth and character of the Burberry Check scarf.
From warm cashmere and lightweight wool, to silk twill Burberry's scarves are at the heart of the brand. Across all stores worldwide a Scarf Bar has been launched, showcasing a curated selection of scarves with more than 30 shades of colors, patterns and textures of Burberry Check. Presented within a bespoke suite of furniture, the elegant new setting invites customers to explore the heritage and craft of the house's soft accessories. These stores include Hyundai Seoul (South Korea), Ginza (Tokyo, Japan), Plaza 66 (Shanghai, China), Regent Street (London, England), and 57th Street (New York, USA), plus newly opened stores in Iguatemi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Iconsiam (Bangkok, Thailand).
A complimentary monogramming service transforms the check scarf into a unique signature item with new symbols and thread. Customers can have personalized embroidery of up to five initials and icons, intricately stitched in a chosen color. Additionally, Burberry offers an online Virtual Try On. Designed for at home or on-the-go, the interactive experience guides customers in their search for the perfect Burberry scarf.
A hallmark of British craftsmanship, Burberry's cashmere scarves are woven in Scotland on traditional looms and brushed with teasels for an ultra-soft finish. The iconic accessory has been produced since the 1980s in partnership with the family-owned Johnston's of Elgin mill.
